The role involves defining and owning the digital product strategy for online insurance distribution and servicing, translating business goals into a product roadmap, and optimizing digital channels and customer experiences.ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the digital product strategy for online insurance distribution and servicingTranslate business goals into a clear product roadmap aligned with growth, efficiency, and customer experience objectivesIdentify opportunities to expand digital channels (e.g. aggregator platforms, direct-to-consumer, embedded insurance)Drive improvements in quote-to-bind journeys, focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO)Optimize digital funnels across web, mobile, and partner ecosystemsLead experimentation (A/B testing) to continuously improve acquisition performanceDesign and deliver scalable self-service capabilities (policy management, claims initiation, endorsements, renewals)Reduce cost-to-serve through automation and intelligent workflowsEnhance customer experience through seamless omnichannel journeysDefine and track KPIs across the product lifecycleLeverage data to prioritize backlog and inform product decisionsPartner with data science teams to embed personalization, pricing insights, and predictive modelsOwn the product backlog and work closely with engineering teams in agile delivery modelsTranslate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteriaEnsure timely, high-quality delivery of product featuresCollaborate with underwriting, distribution, marketing, operations, and compliance teamsAlign senior stakeholders on roadmap priorities and trade-offsAct as the 'voice of the customer' across internal forumsEnsure all digital journeys comply with regulatory requirements across relevant marketsWork closely with compliance and risk teams to embed controls within digital processesBuild and lead a high-performing team of digital product managersSkills5–10+ years of product management experience, ideally within insurance, fintech, or digital platformsStrong experience in digital acquisition funnels and/or high-volume transactional productsProven track record of delivering customer-facing digital products at scaleDeep understanding of digital distribution models (aggregators, direct, embedded)Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisionsExperience with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)Excellent stakeholder management and communication skillsInsurance products (e.g. personal lines, SME, or specialty lines)Knowledge of policy lifecycle (quote, bind, service, claims, renewals)Familiarity with pricing, underwriting, and regulatory constraintsAble to travel up to 30%Experience in the insurance industry, including risk, and regulatory considerationsBenefitsMedical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability InsuranceESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition ReimbursementFree Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy ServicesPaid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.Company OverviewBrown & Brown delivers risk management solutions to help protect and preserve what our customers value most.
