They are seeking a Product Manager for DEWALT Hand Tools, responsible for managing the complete product lifecycle, driving product development, and executing strategic plans for pricing and positioning.ResponsibilitiesManage the complete product lifecycle process, alongside the Product Management team from concept to deliveryAssist in market functions relating to assigned product lines as well as general departmental FunctionsDriving and developing new products while overseeing and managing quality issues, developing sales and promotion programsDeveloping and implementing relevant point-of-purchase displays, materials and web content; benchmark competitors and perform competitive pricing analysisResponsible for development and execution of a comprehensive strategic plan for the profitable management of pricing, gross margins, collateral materials & point-of-purchase. Also entails a monthly forecast of product lines to include detailed tactics required to me strategic objectivesMaintain an awareness of trends in the industry and related industries and develop a deep understanding of the end user to incorporate these insights into successful new product launchesSupporting and preparing for customer meetings, presentations and line reviewsAssist in leading cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives, as well as act as the point of contact for manufacturing, purchasing, sales, quality and engineeringValidation of Product CTQs, Testing & Claims with End UsersProvide product training to internal and external stakeholdersEvaluate and develop product line total sales and product positioning - responsible for managing the annual marketing budget and the profit and loss of the product lineSkillsBS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field3+ years of Product Management experience in the consumer products industry and working directly with retailers or other large customersAbility to work effectively across functions and lead teams – must be able to present data and conclusions in an organized mannerDemonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously in a large global companyFollows through with commitments.
