[Remote] Product Manager

V Group Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to support the implementation and enhancement of the School Based Services Electronic Health Record (EHR) System and other related projects. The role involves product and technical leadership, stakeholder management, and overseeing EHR implementation and system integration to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.ResponsibilitiesServe as a member of Steering Committees and Core Project TeamsAct as the assigned Technical Lead for project initiativesDrive technical strategy, product roadmap discussions, and solution recommendationsCollaborate with business leaders, project managers, SMEs, and vendors to define project priorities and deliverablesProvide technical guidance throughout planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support phasesCoordinate with DVHA, Agency of Digital Services (ADS), Agency of Education (AOE), Local Education Agencies (LEAs), EHR vendors, and other stakeholdersFacilitate communication between technical and business teamsTranslate technical concepts, risks, and complexities into business-friendly languageSupport EHR IT Analysts, EHR Implementation Leads, state staff, and school personnelOversee implementation activities for the School Based Services Electronic Health Record SystemLead data migration efforts and ensure data quality throughout migration processesManage system integrations and interfaces between EHR platforms and external systemsReview technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation plansEnsure compliance with healthcare data standards, privacy, and security requirementsPartner with software vendors to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issuesEvaluate vendor products, capabilities, and market offeringsMonitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligationsParticipate in technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and solution assessmentsCoordinate creation and review of system documentation, training materials, and support documentationOversee release planning and deployment activitiesEnsure successful go-live execution across multiple implementation cohortsMaintain overall quality of technical solutions and deliverablesIdentify, prioritize, and communicate technical debt and project risksSupport issue resolution and remove technical roadblocks impacting project progressResearch industry trends, emerging technologies, and healthcare IT best practicesParticipate in retrospectives and process improvement initiativesRecommend system enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, and operational effectivenessSkills10+ Years of total IT Experience5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Solution Delivery, or IT Leadership rolesExperience leading large-scale enterprise software implementationsExperience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR), Healthcare IT, or Health Information SystemsExperience managing vendor relationships and third-party software implementationsExperience leading cross-functional teams in Agile and Hybrid delivery environmentsStrong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologiesPMPCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)SAFe Product ManagerIIBA CertificationsProsci Change Management CertificationThe selected candidate must successfully complete and maintain: Annual Cyber Security Training, HIPAA Training, Annual State Compliance TrainingBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or related field preferredExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong leadership and coaching abilitiesAbility to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiencesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated professionalism and accountabilityExperience with K-12 Education systems and School-Based Health ServicesExperience of working with State Government agenciesKnowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and EHR platformsFamiliarity with HIPAA compliance requirementsExperience supporting cloud-based enterprise applicationsCompany OverviewSince 1999, V Group Inc.
