An NPO in Cape Town, focusing on integrated learning experiences powered by technology, seeks a Product Manager with a focus on UX. This is a fixed term contract that will start immediately and will continue to the end of December 2025.
Responsibilities:
The role involves:
Ā Developing and maintaining product vision, strategy and roadmap.
Ā Collaborating with developers and designers from concept to launch.
Ā Gathering insights from stakeholders and understanding customer experience.
Ā Creating buy-in for the product vision and working on pricing and positioning strategies.
Ā Translating strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
Ā Driving product launches, evaluating promotional plans and representing the organisation.
Collaboration:
Ā Business Unit Manager: Align user feedback with product development strategy.
Ā Dev Team Manager: Ensure implementation of requirements and report progress.
Ā EdTech Team Manager... Integrate enhancements for learner engagement into product plans.
Ā Marketing Manager: Ensure consistency between product and marketing strategies.
Ā Operations Manager: Coordinate workflow and resources.
Ā Executive Team: Understand strategy and assess deadlines.
Requirements
Ā Based in Cape Town - although a remote role, there may be in-person meetings from time to time
Ā 3-5 years of product management experience with a focus on mobile, consumer internet, or education.
Ā Proven track record in managing product lifecycles and developing product strategies.
Ā Experience with technical teams and hands-on software development.
Ā Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ā Experience in EdTech is advantageous.
Salary: R45 000 - R50 000 neg
