[Remote] Product Manager

Solenis is a leading global provider of water and hygiene solutions, and they are seeking a Regional Product Manager to provide Strategic Business Unit leadership within an assigned region. The role involves developing growth strategies, managing product portfolios, and collaborating with various teams to optimize profitability and enhance product offerings.ResponsibilitiesDevelop growth strategies for the SBU(s)Manage the portfolio in alignment with Global Product Management to upgrade the overall product mix towards more differentiated and higher margin productsWork collaboratively and provide input for the creation of a multi-generational product planExecute and support pricing strategy in alignment with Global Product ManagementPartner with Supply Chain and Procurement to optimize profitability through cost management (making the right products at the right assets, developing a regional supply strategy, and managing through supply constraints)Collaborate with sales in key deals/proposal development to increase win rateManage “backend” product processes and act as point person for all coordinating teams on Regulatory/Supplier Issues, New Product Introductions, etcPartner with Product Regulatory, Product Support, Planning, Pricing and Applications to assist with raw material management, inventory management, and regional production strategyMaintain the price book to ensure correct and timely updatesOwn the tactical product management actions and regional execution of product lifecycle strategy including the regional SBU forecasting processSkillsEducation: Bachelor's Level Equivalent Technical degree (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, etc.)Experience: 7+ years professional industrial experience; ideally including prior experience in Applications, Sales, Global Marketing, R&DStrategic thinker and problem solver who has the ability to apply analytic solutions to business problemsStrong time and cross-functional people management skillsExcellent communication, presentation, analytical and leadership skills, ability to motivate team membersDemonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple teamsStrong written and oral presentation skills (in English)Industry and customer literate or ability to pick up Solenis markets and technologies quicklyKnowledge of marketing and pricing fundamentalsProfitability and growth orientation; does not hesitate in challenging sales force when requiredSufficient financial skills to utilize the decision support systems to interface with the sales and marketing organizations to drive specific action plans and programsCandidates with technical applications and sales experience is preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits which include medical, dental, vision & 401KNumerous opportunities for professional growth and developmentCompany OverviewSolenis is a producer of specialty chemicals for industrial water treatment operations.
