[Remote] Product Development Manager – Cosmetics & Perfume

They are seeking a Product Development Manager to lead product development initiatives for the Cosmetics & Perfumery segment, collaborating with various departments to deliver innovative packaging solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead development of new glass containers, shapes, and decoration solutions for the Cosmetics & Perfume segmentTranslate customer briefs, market insights, and brand positioning into feasible product conceptsConduct feasibility studies, determine mold requirements, evaluate materials, and define technical specificationsCollaborate with Engineering and Design teams on 3D renders, prototypes, and aesthetic refinementManage multiple concurrent development projects using structured project management approachesCreate and track project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and risk mitigation plansCoordinate cross-functional alignment across Sales, Supply Chain, Mold Shops, Quality, and OperationsEnsure efficient sampling, testing, product qualification, and customer approvalPartner with manufacturing and tooling teams to ensure mold readiness, line trials, and optimized productionEvaluate manufacturability, cost drivers, and production constraints for new product designsTroubleshoot and support technical issues during pilot runs, trials, and launch phasesParticipate in customer meetings to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and present design conceptsServe as the technical point of contact for new product launches, addressing design changes, quality expectations, and performance requirementsSkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Design, Packaging Technology, or related field3–5 years of experience in glass packaging, manufacturing, consumer goods packaging, or industrial product developmentStrong understanding of mold design, IS (Individual Section) machine processes, materials science, and glass container manufacturingProven experience managing cross-functional development or technical projectsFamiliarity with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or CREOExperience in the cosmetics/perfume industry is a strong plusBenefitsCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work with a global leader in glass manufacturing and innovation.Dynamic, collaborative work culture with strong opportunities for professional growth.A company committed to creativity, sustainability, and excellence.Company OverviewPGP Glass USA, Inc (formerly known as Piramal Glass-USA, Inc,) is the US subsidiary of PGP Glass Private Limited (formerly known as Piramal Glass Private Limited).
