[Remote] Product Designer, Design Systems

They are seeking a Product Designer to help scale and maintain their Design System, Alley-oop, by collaborating with cross-functional teams to create UI components and documentation while advocating for accessibility standards.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with other product designers, product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders, to contribute to Alley-oop, our Design SystemCreate and maintain foundational patterns, UI components, and documentation, while following accessibility standardsSupport product designers to speed up their workflows by creating reusable and adaptable interactive components that leverage variants, design tokens, and component propertiesAnticipate how the components and styles in the system will affect those using them and optimize Figma libraries accordinglyAdvocate for Alley-oop across the organization and support cross-functional teams with its adoptionEffectively communicate and articulate your thoughts on your designs and processes in order to justify your design decisionsBeing open and receptive to feedback, exploring iterations, and providing objective feedback for other product designersAlways think about driving the system forward by helping to shape the roadmap and governance model in order to improve team and organizational processesOther duties as requiredSkillsA strong portfolio showcasing your process and experience with shaping Design Systems and full end-to-end experiences, using design thinking and user research to drive decisionsYou seek to develop your design leadership skills through mentorship and the way you elevate the quality of design - from actively seeking and providing feedback, communicating designs, and setting the standard for executionExperience working closely with cross-functional teams in order to discover user problems and frame them to work on the right impactful solutionsComfortable working autonomously and proactively, while also knowing when to bring others in to move things forward quicklyYou're comfortable running internal or external workshops or presentations that cover complex concepts to technical and non-technical groupsExperience designing for web and native platforms, WCAG compliant and accessible design3+ years of experience designing digital products and experiences, including native apps for both iOS and AndroidBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageFun, relaxed work environmentEducation and conference reimbursements.Opportunities for career progression and mentoring othersMost sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.Penn Interactive provides best-in-class benefits to eligible employees.Company OverviewPenn Interactive (PI) is an interactive gaming company.
