[Remote] Product Designer

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive user experiences, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the product design process.ResponsibilitiesBe an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, thinking critically, and offering creative and effective solutions to problemsProvide design leadership to align a group around a shared vision and direction including workshop facilitationAdvocate for the user by championing a user-centered design approach and best practicesSet design requirements based on information from internal teams and user researchPresent your designed solutions to your team and/or client stakeholders and facilitate constructive feedback and iterationRefine and deliver your designs at high-fidelity, considering the details and interactions surrounding the experienceSupport and lead user research efforts as part of the design process. Plan and conduct tests for your designs. Compile and present insights from test resultsCreate and maintain design guidelines/systems/standardsEnsure that design materials meet accessibility standards and are compliant with industry regulationsIdentify opportunities for product or feature enhancementsRemain up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and consumer preferencesSkillsProfessional experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or a similar roleProficiency in design and collaboration tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, or similarStrong knowledge of user research methods and ability to conduct usability testing and present research insightsExcellent facilitation and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile or cross-functional teamsFluent in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to gather and interpret project objectives and design requirementsAbility to identify needs, think critically, convey ideas, and align a team around a visionStrong ability to manage time, priorities, and estimate design deliveryA well-rounded product design portfolio with result-driven case studiesExperience leveraging AI tools for ideation, facilitation, research, and designFamiliarity with front-end development principles (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practicesPrior experience mentoring or leading other designersSystems thinking and service design experienceAn entrepreneurial mindsetCompany OverviewAllata is an IT company focused on helping clients enhance or scale business opportunities, create efficiencies and more.
