They are seeking a Product Design Contractor to create a cohesive design system for their internal tools, enhance user interfaces, and incorporate AI solutions into the design process.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain a design system that unites our internal toolsIncorporate branded elements into our design systemThorough documentation of design systemsExploration into future interfaces and UI opportunitiesIncorporating AI workflows using Claude Design and Claude CodeUser research, testing, feedback, and design iterationSkills5+ years of UI/UX design experience — portfolio that shows full design system implementationExperience with various hardware beyond just iOSStrong typography and layout fundamentalsProficiency in Figma (required) – all systems will be built in Figma and utilized via Claude MCP (or whatever's next)Ability to work within an existing brandComfortable in a startup/build environment — you'll be setting up systems, not just using themA passion for food and helping restaurateurs succeed!Strong full-stack design skills; from interaction design to visual design to system thinking, and everything in betweenA proven track record of building products from the ground up and working effectively with cross-functional partnersAn ability to be a strategic partner by helping to understand the competitive environment and shape a vision for how our products will fit in the marketA team player who is a proactive communicator, has no ego, and loves to collaborate with othersSound judgement that combines data with instinct to build the right thing and meet business objectivesBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance (multiple plans, incl.
