[Remote] Process Engineer (Remote Eligible)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dollar Tree is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Logistics Engineering Team. This role involves designing, managing, and executing distribution center process improvements and supporting labor management efforts in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDrive standardization and documentation of standard operating procedures and distribution process across the Dollar Tree Logistics using strong process management and lean principlesDrive implementation and adoption of new process innovations across multiple distribution facilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain labor standards, labor management system configuration, analysis and reportingIdentify innovations and perform experiments to create processes that increase customer value, reduce cost per case, and increase building capacityDetermine root causes of "defects" in performance through deep dive data analysis and decomposition and process observationCollaborate with business partners in cross functional areas such as Operations, Safety, Quality, Loss Prevention, Engineering, Information Technology, and Finance in support of Supply Chain initiativesCoordinate with Information Technology and drive the operational execution of software enhancementsSkillsBS degree in engineering or equivalent industrial and operations backgroundMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar process and building layout design and development role, ideally in fast-paced industrial, logistics, distribution, fulfillment or production/manufacturing environmentKnowledge of standardization of work methods, time study, MOST or equivalent tools to establish labor standardsProcess Engineering skills and excellent Project Management skillsDemonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders and in a cross functional organizationHigh level of written, verbal and interpersonal skillsAdvanced data analysis skills and an expert in using supporting tools e.g., Minitab, Excel, MS AccessAbility to travel up to 75% of the time based on project needsRemote eligible for qualified candidates within reasonable distance of a major airport in the Eastern or Central time zoneProject Management CertificationMOST CertificationLean Six Sigma CertificationExperience and proficiency with labor management system implementation and maintenance (preferably Manhattan Active)Benefits10% target bonusMedical, pharmacy, dental, and vision insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramRetirement plans with matching contributionEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramEducational AssistanceAccess to PerkSpot, an employee discount platform for goods and servicesCompany OverviewDollar Tree remains committed to our original mission: giving our customers extreme value at low prices.
