They are seeking a Privacy Program Manager to lead risk management efforts across global partnerships, focusing on privacy and employment compliance within complex initiatives. The role involves performing risk assessments, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring adherence to global protection standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform deep dive risk assessments across privacy and employment compliance, specifically focusing on product-facing initiativesApply and maintain rigorous risk frameworks to evaluate a host of complex compliance risksPartner with technical teams to understand how products are built from an infrastructure and data processing perspective to assess associated risksJoin and support the People Data Review program, managing high-intensity workflows with a no-fail approach to speed and attention to detailInfluence product development through "compliance by design" principles to ensure longterm adherence to global protection standardsLead end-to-end risk assessments for projects and initiatives involving people data, maintaining accountability throughout the process, and collaborating with legalLead the resolution of issues identified during reviews, working in partnership with legal and cross-functional compliance teamsDevelop and own communication plans to communicate program status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively to stakeholders and leadershipAnticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure HR Compliance is not compromisedExercise excellent people skills, be a team player with a bias to actionBe motivated by the opportunity to solve complex HR risk problems within an operations environmentDefine and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators, and drive cross-functional execution of program deliverablesSkillsAt least 10 years of professional experience in risk assessment, assurance, and compliance managementStrong expertise in privacy and/or employment compliance and data protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)A strong technical data background, including an understanding of infrastructure and data processingExceptional structured thinking and an 'educated' approach to risk analysis where speed and precision are criticalA reliable, trustworthy professional with a proven track record of taking full ownership of their workRisk management or Compliance expertise; preferably 2nd line of defense risk management or internal audit experience within a Tech companyStrong background in People Data Privacy and/or User Data PrivacyEmployment compliance experienceThe ideal candidate should be able to work independently, requiring minimal guidance, and can 'hit the ground running.'Proven ability to conduct risk assessments for privacy, employment, security, and AI compliance in a fast-paced, results-oriented environmentHave working knowledge or willingness to quickly learn the content and requirements of various employment laws, regulations, industry guidance, and company compliance policiesDemonstrate data analytical skills, creativity, and experience working with attention to detailExperience maintaining open, candid, and trusting work relationships with both engineering teams and legal partnersBenefits401(k).Dental Insurance.Health insurance.Vision insurance.Company OverviewOP is one of the fastest-growing technology consulting and solutions companies in the U.S. It was founded in 2006, and is headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
