[Remote] Privacy Analyst I

The Privacy Analyst I will work with the privacy team to ensure compliance with federal and state data privacy requirements, investigate data incidents, and promote a robust privacy compliance program.ResponsibilitiesReceiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and taking action on data incidents and issues concerning compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations and/or the Company’s privacy policies and proceduresEnsuring consistent application of sanctions for failure to comply with privacy policies in cooperation with others on the R1 privacy team, Human Resources and legal counsel, as applicableDeveloping compliance-based metrics and reporting mechanisms to track privacy and data incident concerns as reported into or otherwise identified by complianceWorking with internal teams to remediate any activities for continuous privacy improvement, including managing projects for privacy and compliance enhancementSupporting the Company’s proactive efforts to monitor, educate on, and promote compliance with all federal, state, and international privacy requirementsAssisting in annual compliance and risk assessmentsMaintaining focus on operational excellence through risk mitigation and protection of data to improve quality and customer satisfactionAssisting in development of and enhancements to the company’s Compliance & Ethics ProgramDemonstrating ability and comfort working with and reporting to a broad spectrum of service lines and professionals, ranging from senior management to front line site and service leaders, including clients and vendors; andFlexibly assisting in other areas of concern to the compliance team to benefit the Company’s privacy postureSkillsBachelor's Degree is RequiredAt least two (2) years compliance experience, including data and information privacy experience, preferably in a hospital or health care environment, or within the health care industry more broadlyExcellent project management skillsAbility to think strategically and analyze complex compliance issuesProven research, writing and communication skillsHigh degree of integrity, trust and ability to work independentlyProfessional, ethical and discrete in maintaining proprietary and confidential informationBenefitsCompetitive benefits packageCompany OverviewR1 RCM serves as a revenue cycle management partner for hospitals and healthcare systems regardless of the payment models.
