If you are interested in this Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator position, please contact Austin Faris at 586-710-7941 586-710-7941 or Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Compensation β€’ The pay for this position is $16.00 per hour β€’ Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment β€’ A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Highlights β€’ This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs β€’ Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CT (2 weeks) β€’ Work Schedule: Shifts vary between 7:00am – 8:00pm CT (8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday) β€’ Mandatory overtime may be required β€’ Fully remote – must have a private home office with a door and hardwired internet connection (no Wi-Fi) Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Responsibilities β€’ Perform non-clinical activities and functions under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures β€’ Review and maintain compliance with ERISA, CMS, Medicaid, and client-specific requirements β€’ Sort and process incoming faxes and mail to meet service level agreements β€’ Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely transaction processing β€’ Collaborate with team members to meet business unit objectives Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator Requirements β€’ High School Diploma or GED β€’ 6 months – 1 year of data entry experience required β€’ 1 year of healthcare-related experience (hospital, managed care, physician office, PBM) preferred β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel β€’ Strong written communication and interpersonal skills β€’ Typing speed of at least 30 WPM (screenshot of recent test required) β€’ Must provide screenshot of internet speed test β€’ Must have a distraction-free home office with a door and hardwired internet β€’ Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days If you think this Remote Prior Authorization Coordinator position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me – feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
