The Print & Digital Sales, Marketing & Events Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing sales and marketing efforts, developing strategic marketing initiatives, and managing experiential events to maximize visibility and business performance.ResponsibilitiesLead sales efforts for both print and digital advertising opportunities across magazines, websites, newsletters, social media, sponsored content, and special publicationsDevelop integrated advertising and sponsorship packages that combine print, digital, social, and event exposureIdentify, pursue, and secure new advertising partnerships and sponsorship revenue streamsLeverage an existing network and book of business to drive immediate revenue opportunities and long-term partnershipsBuild and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, luxury brands, hospitality groups, regional businesses, and strategic partnersManage the full advertising sales cycle including prospecting, presentations, proposal development, negotiations, contracts, and account managementCollaborate with editorial, creative, and production teams to ensure advertising integrations align with brand standards and audience expectationsDevelop long-term client relationships that support recurring advertising and sponsorship revenueMaintain sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and client reportingDevelop and execute integrated marketing strategies designed to increase audience growth, lead generation, brand awareness, and revenueOversee marketing initiatives across SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, paid advertising, and content distribution channelsOptimize customer acquisition and conversion strategies across digital platformsEnsure consistent brand identity, messaging, and user experience across print, digital, and event platformsPartner with editorial and creative teams to develop campaigns, promotions, and audience engagement initiativesOversee website marketing performance, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materialsMonitor and analyze campaign performance, audience engagement, lead generation, advertising ROI, and revenue metricsUse data-driven insights to improve marketing efficiency, audience growth, and sales performanceProvide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to executive leadershipConceptualize and oversee digital and in-person events including networking receptions, conferences, webinars, launches, trade shows, and experiential activationsDevelop event strategies that support lead generation, sponsorship growth, audience engagement, and brand positioningIdentify and secure event sponsorship opportunitiesPartner with sales teams to align event participation with business development and client acquisition goalsDesign post-event lead follow-up strategies to maximize conversions and ROIOversee event budgets, vendor relationships, venue coordination, staffing, timelines, and on-site executionTrack event performance metrics, attendance, sponsorship value, and overall ROIRecruit, mentor, and manage marketing, sales, and event support staffFoster a collaborative and performance-driven culture focused on growth and innovationWork closely with leadership, editorial, creative, sales, and operations teams to support cohesive brand and revenue strategiesContribute to long-term growth planning and strategic business initiativesDrive adoption of CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, AI-powered tools, and analytics technologies to improve efficiency and performanceStay informed on industry trends, audience behaviors, and emerging media opportunitiesSkills5–7+ years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, sponsorship development, media sales, publishing, event management, or related leadership rolesProven success selling print and digital advertising, sponsorships, or integrated media campaignsStrong understanding of the luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, publishing, and media industriesExisting book of business and established industry relationships strongly preferredStrong understanding of SEO, paid media, CRM systems, analytics platforms, and marketing automation toolsExperience planning and executing successful events and experiential marketing initiativesExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred;
