As a Principal Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality developer documentation that enhances the developer experience and drives adoption of Circle’s products and services.ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain high-quality developer documentation, including API references, integration guides, and tutorialsDesign and improve documentation architecture to optimize usability and developer experiencePartner with product managers and engineers to understand features and translate them into clear documentationDevelop content strategies that support product launches and ongoing feature adoptionAnalyze developer feedback and usage data to continuously improve documentation effectivenessEstablish and scale documentation standards, processes, and best practices across cross-functional teamsReview and collaborate with other technical writers to ensure consistency, quality, and clarity across all technical contentSkills10+ years of experience creating technical documentation for developer audiencesProven experience writing API documentation, integration guides, and system-level contentStrong understanding of software development concepts, including REST APIs and developer workflowsExperience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, and developer relations teamsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detailAbility to independently lead complex documentation initiatives from concept to deliveryFamiliarity with a docs-as-code process and tools such as Git, GitHub, and modern documentation platformsExperience in blockchain, crypto, or fintech ecosystemsCoding ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, or PythonCompany OverviewCircle helps businesses and developers utilize stablecoins for payments and online commerce.
