They are seeking a highly experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional programs across Life Science Group and Clinical Diagnostics Group initiatives, focusing on R&D alignment, AI/ML innovation, and regulatory-compliant product delivery.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of multi-team programs across LSG and CDG product portfoliosServe as the primary technical program interface between R&D and engineering teamsTranslate research and laboratory innovations into scalable platform development roadmapsDrive AI/ML initiatives, including computer vision, predictive diagnostics, and LLM-assisted documentationFacilitate cross-functional alignment and provide executive-level program updates and recommendationsPresent risk mitigation strategies and resolution plans to senior leadership and executive stakeholdersParticipate in architecture reviews and guide build-versus-buy decisionsEstablish and maintain SAFe/hybrid-agile program management practicesDefine and govern program milestones, OKRs, dependencies, and risk management processesDrive CI/CD and DevSecOps adoption for embedded software and instrument development teamsDevelop executive-ready reporting and mentor program managers and project leadsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline12+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs with budgets exceeding $5MProven experience leading enterprise application programs throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft ecosystem technologies, enterprise integrations, business process automation, and platform modernization initiativesStrong experience managing programs within Life Sciences, Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or regulated healthcare environmentsExperience with SAFe, LeSS, Agile-at-Scale methodologies, Program Increment planning, and Agile Release Train facilitationDeep understanding of IVD product development lifecycle and regulatory frameworks, including: 21 CFR Part 11, IEC 62304, ISO 13485Experience supporting molecular biology workflows such as PCR, ddPCR, electrophoresis, or flow cytometryStrong background in embedded systems, instrument software, firmware, and hardware development programsKnowledge of cloud-native platforms (AWS and/or Azure), APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practicesExperience managing AI/ML program delivery, model governance, and enterprise AI initiativesStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skillsMaster's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldPgMP, PMP, SAFe SPC, or equivalent program management certificationExperience with laboratory environments, including CLIA, CAP, QC systems, and proficiency testingFamiliarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) governance processesExperience with platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and developer platform strategiesWorking knowledge of embedded software development using C/C++ and PythonExperience with enterprise AI platforms such as Claude, Azure OpenAI, or similar technologiesFamiliarity with enterprise systems including SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, and ConfluenceProven ability to mentor TPMs and influence cross-functional teams in global matrix organizationsBenefitsVisa sponsorship is not available for this role.
