Remote Principal Solutions Architect - AWS
We are seeking a seasoned Principal Solutions Architect with deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in guiding teams, shaping architecture, and executing best practices across AWS services. This person will architect and implement end-to-end AWS solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and security. They will provide strategic guidance on AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, EKS, ECS, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, and VPC. They will develop and lead architectural decisions for storage and container layers, ensuring optimal configuration and integration. They will collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This person will define and enforce AWS best practices, governance, and automation standards. They will conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and cost optimization. This person will work closely with the Delivery Manager, TPM, engineers, other architects and engineers on the team to provide end to end solutions surrounding AWS technologies and design patterns.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
15+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture
12+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions using EC2, S3, EKS/ECS, and other core AWS services.
12+ years of experience advising the direction of AWS and providing hands on implementing this framework
10+ years of experience in migrations from on prem to AWS
10+ years of experience in multi-account AWS environments and landing zone setup.
8+ years of experience in migrations from Azure to AWS
Deep understanding of storage architectures, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
Strong knowledge of security, networking, and scalability in cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and cloud-native design principles.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
