[Remote] Principal Product Manager, Data Science

They are seeking a Principal Product Manager in Data Science to collaborate with product leadership, define project requirements, and lead marketing activities for the data science team while leveraging advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product leadership to identity, elaborate and prioritize projectsPartner with business-product managers to explore new opportunities to build customer facing capabilities with AI and build and maintain the data science project pipelineHelp define requirements and success metrics for identified projects and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver on the commitmentsLead marketing activities for the data science team, facilitate ideation sessions to help the entire product organization innovate, and introduce processes that promote transparent prioritization, data-driven decision making, and reuse of our platforms and capabilities across the companyStay up-to-date, constantly learning about advances in the field, and deliver periodic presentations to internal teams on these developmentsServe as the company-wide expert in one or more complex technical areas and its business applications (e.g., entity mastering, knowledge graphs, search optimization, RAG)All other duties, as assignedSkills6+ years of experience applying AI / ML to business applications and delivering data driven solutionsProven track record of innovating on behalf of the customer in close collaboration with business teams and delivering revenue generating products into productionGraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experienceSubstantial depth and breadth in NLP, Deep Learning, Generative AI and other state of the art AI / ML techniquesExcellent knowledge of high-level programming languages (Python, Java, or C++) and core data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy and other similar librariesExperience with delivering large-scale distributed systems in an agile environment and the ability to build quick prototypesExperience leading a portfolio of complex data science projects and mentoring junior team membersExcellent problem solving and communication skillsKnowledge of the healthcare domain and experience with applying AI to healthcare dataExperience with AWS especially in relation to ML workflows with SageMaker, serverless compute and storage such as S3 and SnowflakeExperience with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation, model fine tuning and knowledge graphsBenefitsMedical and Prescription Drug Benefits.Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).Dental & Vision Benefits.Basic Life and AD&D Benefits.401k Retirement Plan with Company Match.Company Paid Short & Long-Term Disability.Paid Parental Leave.Paid Time Off & Company Holidays.Discretionary bonusCompany OverviewNorstella help patients gain access to life-saving therapies.
