They are seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for their next-generation advertising offerings, partnering with various teams to deliver impactful ad solutions.ResponsibilitiesDefine the vision and strategy for how Wunderkind ads – from ad formats and targeting to measurement and optimizationPartner deeply with engineering, data science, sales, client success, and partnerships to bring differentiated ads solutions to marketAct as the internal and external thought leader for advertising: shaping our point of view, informing GTM, and representing Wunderkind with clients and partnersDrive meaningful revenue impact, advertiser performance, and product differentiation in a fast-moving, highly competitive spaceDevelop and continuously refine the multi-year product vision and strategy for Wunderkind’s advertising productsDefine where we play and how we win: inventory sources, identity strategy, targeting and optimization capabilities, measurement, and creativeCreate a clear, opinionated product roadmap that balances foundational capabilities, experimentation, and strategic betsSpend time with advertisers, agencies, and partners to deeply understand their goals, workflows, and constraintsIdentify and quantify customer problems and opportunities across targeting, pacing, frequency, attribution, and incrementalityTranslate qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product hypotheses, requirements, and experimentsWork closely with engineering, data, and design to deliver high-quality capabilities on time and with measurable impactWrite crisp PRDs / specs, define success metrics, and ensure we ship iterative, learn-fast increments rather than big-bang releasesPartner with data science to design experiments, test new optimization strategies, and measure performance lift over baselinesCollaborate with sales, marketing, and client success to define packaging, pricing, positioning, and enablement for advertising offeringsSupport key client conversations as the product expert for Ads and help unlock/scale strategic dealsMonitor product performance, adoption, and revenue – and rapidly adjust the roadmap to maximize business and client impactAlign stakeholders, making tradeoffs, and keeping everyone focused on outcomesDrive alignment with other product areas (identity, measurement, creative, AI/optimization) to ensure Ads is tightly integrated into the broader Wunderkind platformMentor PMs and help raise the bar on product quality, rigor, and execution across the orgSkills10+ years in product management, with significant time in programmatic & advertising technologyProven track record of owning product strategy and roadmap for a complex, multi-stakeholder productProven track record of driving 0β†’1 and 1β†’N product development, not just incremental feature workProven track record of delivering products that show clear, quantifiable business impactExperience at an ad tech company (DSP, SSP, platform, or publisher)Experience integrating with major inventory sources and streaming platformsExperience integrating with identity partners, clean rooms, or measurement providersDeep ad tech fluency – you understand how impressions get bought/sold, how identity works in ads, the role of clean rooms, and what makes targeting/measurement actually workAI literacy - you orchestrate and build AI systems that elevate how you workStrong product judgment – you can quickly cut through noise, identify what matters, and make hard tradeoffsAnalytical and data-driven – comfortable with experimentation, measurement, and digging into metrics with data teamsExcellent communicator – you can move seamlessly between executive-level storytelling, technical depth with engineering, and practical value framing for sales and clientsHighly collaborative – you bring people along, listen well, and can drive alignment across product, engineering, and GTMBias to action – you are comfortable making decisions with imperfect information and iterating quicklyCompany OverviewWunderkind enables brands to better recognize their customers online, providing 1-to-1 marketing at scale.
