The role involves defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Zillow’s industry software, focusing on creating a scalable platform for customers and partners.ResponsibilitiesOwn the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Zillow Workspace’s API and integration platform, including APIs, webhooks, event infrastructure, and connector frameworksTurn internal capabilities into scalable platform offerings for customers, partners, developers, and AI powered workflowsLead enterprise onboarding capabilities, including roster ingestion, identity and access provisioning, and bulk data workflowsShape the API platform’s long-term commercialization strategy, including packaging, pricing, tiering, and go-to-market plans in partnership with Sales and Business DevelopmentDefine how Zillow scales third-party connectors through in-house, partner-built, and marketplace approachesEstablish the operating model for platform product management, including lifecycle governance, contract review, deprecation policy, support, and analyticsSet the vision for secure, extensible AI-powered experiences on WorkspaceInfluence and mentor PMs across the organization while representing the platform with enterprise customers and partnersSkills8+ years of product management or equivalent experience, with a focus on platforms, APIs, data systems, or complex integrations, and a track record of building scalable enterprise productsProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical or infrastructure-driven initiatives that support customer-facing outcomesA strong systems thinker who can simplify complex workflows and navigate technical tradeoffs with engineering partnersAnalytical and curious, with the ability to use data to form hypotheses, prioritize effectively, and make informed decisionsAn excellent communicator who can create clear documentation, strategy briefs, and stakeholder updates, and represent a platform vision with senior leaders, customers, and partnersComfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with high autonomy and accountabilityExperience with identity and access management and/or agent-facing or AI integration platforms is a plusBenefitsIn addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.Company OverviewZillow is an online real estate marketplace for finding and sharing information about homes, real estate, and mortgages.
