[Remote] Principal Incident Response Analyst

The Principal Incident Response Analyst will serve as an Incident Commander/Coordinator, managing the enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance security measures and communication during incidents. Responsibilities
ā¢ Keeps abreast of security breaches and ensure incident and response management processes are initiated
ā¢ Collaborates with Information Security Architects, Information Security Engineers, and software or hardware stakeholders at Centene
ā¢ Ties third party attack monitoring services and threat reporting services, into internal CIRT (Cyber Incident Response Team) communications systems
ā¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills
ā¢ Performs other duties as assigned
ā¢ Complies with all policies and standards
Skills
ā¢ A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
ā¢ Deep functional and Centene specific knowledge with 6 ā 8 years of related experience
ā¢ Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes (TTP) used by threat actors
ā¢ Knowledge of Indicators of compromise (IOC)
ā¢ Experience with Endpoint protection and enterprise detection & response software (such as CrowdStrike or Carbon Black)
ā¢ Knowledge of network and infrastructure technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, etc
ā¢ Experience with cloud infrastructure and security best practice
ā¢ Experience with Cloud Detection and Response technology
ā¢ Advanced - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty
ā¢ Advanced - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
ā¢ Advanced - Ability to work independently
