They are seeking a Principal Forward Deployed AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent applications using advanced AI technologies, while collaborating closely with customers to solve significant business challenges.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize LLM-based solutions, including model design, fine-tuning, deployment, and application of techniques such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based architecturesOwn and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient codebases in Python (using frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph) and SQL, ensuring reusability, performance, and best engineering practicesDrive cloud integration and deployment of GenAI applications on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, ensuring efficient resource utilization and robust CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and business SMEs to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver impactful AI-driven productsProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the engineering team, promoting best practices in machine learning and generative AI developmentStay updated with the latest advancements in LLMs and generative AI, proactively experimenting with emerging techniques and incorporating innovations to improve model performance and system capabilitiesSkills8+ years of experience in software engineering, or solutions engineering, ideally in a customer-facing capacity, including at least 2+ years focused on building and deploying AI/ML models and systems1+ year of experience developing Generative AI (LLM) applications using techniques such as prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and/or agent-based frameworksStrong expertise in architecting and designing GenAI applications and systems using modern frameworks and cloud-native servicesProficiency in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to build, deploy, and scale GenAI solutionsStrong programming skills in Python, along with hands-on experience in LangChain/LangGraph and SQLProven ability to lead and drive engineering teams toward execution of a defined technical roadmapExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business SMEs and cross-functional teamsBachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldBenefitsEquityAmazing work culture (Super collaborative & supportive work environment; 5 days a week)Awesome colleagues (Surround yourself with top talent from Meta, Google, LinkedIn etc. as well as people with deep startup experience)Competitive compensationFlexible working hoursCompany OverviewTuring advances frontier AI and builds real-world systems for Fortune 500 companies, governments, and the world’s leading AI labs.
