[Remote] Principal DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

The Principal DevOps Engineer will be responsible for architecting cloud and platform infrastructure, defining standards, driving automation strategy, leading migrations, and mentoring the platform organization. Responsibilities • Set technical direction for cloud, arenaflex/CD, and infrastructure strategy • Architect large-scale, multi-region, highly available systems • Lead Kubernetes platform engineering at scale • Define SRE/DevOps best practices, mature reliability culture • Lead incident response architecture and high-severity readiness • Drive costs, performance, and security posture across systems • Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering-wide strategy Skills • Experience in architecting large-scale, multi-region, highly available systems • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes platform engineering at scale • Proven ability to define SRE/DevOps best practices and mature reliability culture • Experience leading incident response architecture and high-severity readiness • Ability to drive costs, performance, and security posture across systems • Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing engineering-wide strategy Company Overview • Sigma Software Vertex is where engineering excellence meets human connection.
