As a Principal in Data Sciences, you will design and develop methods to analyze big data, build analytic models, and provide leadership in data science initiatives to solve complex business issues.ResponsibilitiesDesigns, develops, programs methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources using machine learning and predictive modeling toolsBuilds analytic models to identify and quantify solutions to business problemsInterprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to client, service, and business managersDetermines probable future outcomes and recommends and delivers new business process improvementsProvides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel towards build of software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sourcesDetermines the right modeling methodology to the use case, available structured and unstructured data, cost and timing constraints to solve the large and complex business issues and delivers compelling and clear business focused insightsChampions global initiatives in data sciences- like building new centers of excellence (by domain or technology); acts as leading subject matter expert providing guidance and long term visionInfluences a client's strategic decisions by using deep industry expertise and deploying innovative analytics solutions in the operational systemsSkills6+ years of relevant experience in statistics and machine learningExtensive knowledge of data science methodologies including but not limited to supervised machine learning, unsupervised machine learning, and generative AI applicationsExperience with writing SQL to query multi-dimensional and/or relational databasesExperience in developing machine learning and AI solutions using pythonExperience with data cleansing, validation, and general quality control principalsBenefitsGenerous, flexible vacation policy401(k) employer matchComprehensive health benefitsEducational assistanceVariety of leadership and technical development academies to help build your skills and capabilitiesFully Remote Opportunity – Work from anywhere in the U.S.Minimal Travel Required – Occasional travel opportunities (0-10%)Company OverviewGainwell Technologies is a provider of Information Technology & Services.
