[Remote] Principal Cyber Security Engineer

The role requires strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills along with in-depth experience in managing passwords and credentials in PAM solutions.ResponsibilitiesSupport the deployment and integration of privileged account security solutionsAbility to discuss technical concepts and interdependencies with customersExperience gathering high level functional and operational requirementsExperience developing and managing multiple system designs concurrentlyProvide operation and maintenance of existing PAM solutionsDevelop design documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and implementation/deployment plans for privileged account security solutions and identity governance solutionsProvide after-hours and on-call production support when requiredDevelop diagrams and documentation to support infrastructure configuration changesProvide security tool enhancements and performance tuning to increase capability to support new requirementsPlan, test, and deploy firmware, software upgrades, and security fixesSkillsBachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information Security OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network, or Information SecurityExperience supporting PAM solutions (CyberArk, HashiCorp, Delinea, etc.) in enterprise environmentHands-on PowerShell/Python or similar scripting experienceAbility to proficiently utilize SailPoint identity management system a plusProficiency with MS Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelBackground in information security systems with specific knowledge around access controlBackground in role-based access control for privileged accessHands-on Windows 2019 or later Server administration experienceHands-on Active Directory and LDAP query experienceFunctional understanding of TCP/IP networks and firewallsFunctional understanding of the following protocols: TCP, UDP, DNS, NetBIOS, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SSLStrong UNIX/Linux system administration experienceCompany OverviewFirst Citizens Bank provides banking services, essential business and professional services, wealth management capabilities, and more.
