[Remote] Principal Business Intelligence Analyst

This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of BI solutions, translating business needs into requirements, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet organizational standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and contribute to market-leading tools that enable customersFocus on curating measurable value for clients by accelerating time to market through advanced data simulation and internally through operational efficiencies and reclaiming capacityDefine long-term solution strategy and roadmapsTranslate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirementsMaintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical feasibilityLead sprint review meetings and facilitate clear communication between stakeholders and the technical teamProvide direct guidance to developers and testers through development lifecycleEstablish and review comprehensive test strategies, covering both internal code quality and User Acceptance testing (UAT)Oversee the release management and deployment of robust BI SolutionsReview reported bugs and prioritize fixes based on business impactParticipate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance and data integrityProduce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including technical specification, user guides and architecture diagramsNetwork with key stakeholders and business representatives outside of the teamEnsure all solutions meet organization standards for data governance and securitySkillsBachelor's or Master's Degree preferred in a STEM or Business Tech related fieldMinimum of 8 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence analytics, data and/or automation2+ years of business facing experienceBI Platform Experience: Minimum 8 years of direct experience with at least one of the following: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate – or related softwareProven track record of guiding technical teams in developing rich, dynamic and interactive business intelligence solutionsProven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projectsExceptional verbal presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders/audiencesAbility to convert abstract business requirements into prioritized technical roadmapsProficiency supporting various data integration and formats such as Oracle, Salesforce and cloud platformsKnowledge of government regulations like GxP SEQ, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11 or EU GMP Annex 11Agile/Scrum with experience with JiraCertification in any of the following: Microsoft Azure, Fabric, Power Platform ProductsDevelopment in AI, machine learning or advanced analytics is preferred to help drive innovationCompany OverviewOur mission is to improve success rates in this endeavor via the optimal design, effective implementation It was founded in 1987, and is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
