[Remote] Pricing Analyst

They are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Pricing Analyst to lead cost proposal development and pricing activities in support of government contracting efforts, ensuring compliance and developing competitive pricing strategies.ResponsibilitiesLead development of cost proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and task ordersEnsure pricing compliance with FAR, DFARS, and solicitation requirementsBuild, maintain, and document pricing models, including direct labor, subcontractor costs, Other Direct Costs (ODCs), and indirect ratesDevelop and support Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation aligned with technical and management approachesPerform cost and price analyses, including subcontractor evaluationsCollaborate with Business Development, Contracts, and Technical teams to develop competitive pricing strategiesSupport cost volume preparation and audit readiness, including responses to DCAA inquiriesAssist Program Managers with budgeting, forecasting, and financial trackingSupport development of Estimates at Completion (EACs), burn rate analyses, and variance reportingMonitor program financial performance, including labor utilization and subcontractor spendingTrack funding, revenue, and costs to ensure alignment with contract requirementsContribute to monthly financial reporting and internal management reviewsSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field4–8+ years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, or related financial roles, preferably within government contractingStrong understanding of government proposal pricing processes and regulations, including FAR and DFARSAdvanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modeling and data analysisStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposal deadlines simultaneouslyDirect experience developing pricing for federal government proposalsFamiliarity with cost-type, Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract structuresExposure to program controls, financial reporting, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) conceptsExperience with Unanet or similar project accounting and financial management toolsUnderstanding of indirect rate structures, including fringe, overhead, and General & Administrative (G&A) expensesBenefitsEmployer-funded health, dental, vision, and life insuranceFlexible leave policy (Need Vacation - Take It!)Flexible hours and opportunities to work from home4% 401(k) contribution, vested immediatelyReimbursements for training events, gym memberships, cell phone and internet bills, and lunches with coworkersCompany OverviewSIXGEN provides cybersecurity services and products protecting critical assets and infrastructure from global adversaries.
