Remote Precision Agriculture Data Analyst

Our client is a leading innovator in agricultural technology and is looking for a dedicated Remote Precision Agriculture Data Analyst to join their growing team. This role is fully remote and focuses on leveraging advanced data analytics to optimize farming operations and enhance crop yields. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing vast datasets from various sources, including sensors, drones, satellite imagery, and farm management software. The core of this role involves identifying patterns, trends, and actionable insights to support farmers in making data-driven decisions regarding irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and planting strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agricultural science, data analysis, and statistical modeling. Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and database management is essential. Experience with GIS software and agricultural modeling platforms is highly desirable. Responsibilities include developing and implementing data collection protocols, creating detailed reports and dashboards, and communicating complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will collaborate with agronomists, farm managers, and technology developers to translate data insights into practical farming solutions. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required. Minimum of three years of experience in agricultural data analysis or a similar analytical role is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are crucial.
