They are seeking a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (SASE & Security) to serve as a trusted technical advisor for Global Major Accounts, providing technical leadership and helping organizations modernize their security architectures through HPE's cybersecurity portfolio.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical advisor for Global Major Accounts, partnering with customers to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectivesLead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and security architecture discussions throughout the sales cycleArchitect and position HPE cybersecurity solutions across SASE, SSE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, Firewall, NAC, and cloud security environmentsDeliver executive-level presentations, technical demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) that showcase the business and technical value of HPE's security portfolioEngage CISOs, security architects, network teams, and executive stakeholders in both strategic and technical discussionsDevelop end-to-end security solution architectures that address customer requirements, security initiatives, and digital transformation goalsGuide customers through observability and threat detection integrations, including SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and OpenTelemetry frameworksLead technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, security assessments, and complex customer evaluationsServe as the technical lead on large, complex enterprise opportunities, collaborating closely with Account Managers, channel partners, and cross-functional teams to drive successful business outcomesPosition HPE security solutions against competitive offerings and articulate key differentiators within the cybersecurity marketBuild trusted advisor relationships across customer organizations and maintain a strong understanding of customer priorities, challenges, and security strategiesCollaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence future product roadmap developmentMaintain expertise in emerging cybersecurity, networking, cloud, and observability technologies while serving as a subject matter expert within the organizationSupport teammates and contribute technical leadership across the broader Systems Engineering organizationSkillsBachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical consulting rolesStrong network security background with experience supporting enterprise customers and complex security environmentsExperience leading customer-facing technical engagements, including discovery sessions, solution design, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs)Experience engaging with technical and executive stakeholders, including security architects, CISOs, and business leadersStrong presentation, communication, and consultative selling skillsReside within the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, NJ, NY, MD, DC preferred); other Northeast locations may be consideredAbility to travel approximately 30% throughout the assigned territoryExperience supporting Global Major Accounts, Fortune 500, or other large enterprise customersExperience with SASE, SSE, Zero Trust, Firewall, NAC, SD-WAN, and cloud security solutionsFamiliarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and cloudNAC technologiesIndustry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or equivalent security certificationsBenefitsWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.We also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
