[Remote] Pre Sales Engineer – Utilities (FSM / EAM / Construction Work Management)

KloudGin is looking for an experienced Pre Sales Engineer to join their Sales Engineering team, focusing on helping utility organizations modernize their field operations and asset management. The role involves delivering demos, designing solution architectures, and guiding prospects through evaluations to showcase KloudGin’s FSM, EAM, and Construction Work Management platform.ResponsibilitiesLead technical pre‑sales engagements with water, wastewater, electric, gas, and telecom utilities—translating business needs into tailored solution demonstrationsPartner with Account Executives to shape deal strategy, qualify opportunities, and build strong value narrativesParticipate in the RFP process end‑to‑end:Interpret requirementsParticipate in the crafting of precise, complete, and competitive technical responsesEnsure alignment with KloudGin capabilities and roadmapCreate and contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs) by defining scope, assumptions, integrations, data migration needs, and implementation considerationsDesign and present solution architectures for CMMS/EAM, Field Service, and Construction Work Management workflows aligned to customer requirements and industry best practicesDeliver engaging product demos to diverse audiences—from field crews and dispatchers to operations leaders and executivesMaintain and evolve demo assets, solution templates, and technical collateral to support repeatable, high‑quality sales cyclesIdentify pre‑sales risks early and ensure smooth handoff from sales to implementation teamsCollaborate with Product Management to relay customer insights and influence roadmap prioritiesSkillsProven Sales Engineering or Pre Sales Consulting experience in enterprise software, ideally within utilities or asset intensive industriesHands on experience with CMMS/EAM, FSM, or Work Management platforms; familiarity with KloudGin or similar solutions is a strong plusStrong understanding of utility operations—water, wastewater, electric, gas, or telecom—and how they manage assets, field work, and construction projectsDemonstrated ability to lead RFP responses, including technical writing, solution mapping, and competitive positioningExperience drafting or contributing to Statements of Work, including scope definition, assumptions, and implementation considerationsAbility to translate complex technical workflows into clear, business focused value storiesComfortable working in fast paced, product driven environmentsKnowledge of cloud-native architectures, SaaS delivery models, and integration patternsExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsCompany OverviewKloudGin is a combined one-cloud industry-focused field service and asset management solution that automates work management processes.
