[Remote] Pre-Litigation Attorney: Employment & Civil Rights

They are hiring a Pre-Litigation Attorney to prepare cases for litigation, involving legal analysis, case architecture, and writing without courtroom work.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Conducting a deep, independent review of newly accepted matters
ā¢ Identifying all viable federal and state claims and confirming statute-of-limitations compliance
ā¢ Drafting high-quality, tailored complaints (not templates)
ā¢ Preparing initial disclosures and discovery that anticipate defense strategy
ā¢ Organizing and assembling initial document productions (personnel files, contracts, policies, communications, etc.)
ā¢ Delivering complete, coherent, litigation-ready case files to the litigation team
Skills
ā¢ J.D. and active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
ā¢ Minimum 4 years of litigation experience, with meaningful exposure to employment or civil rights law
ā¢ Excellent legal research and writing skills
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to identify claims, defenses, and statute-of-limitations issues
ā¢ Experience organizing evidence and preparing discovery productions
ā¢ Strong judgment and attention to detail
ā¢ Preference for MD, IL, NJ, NY, or CA
