[Remote] PR by the Book Public Relations Intern - Fall 2026

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PR by the Book is a book PR firm that believes in the potential of every author to impact the world through their craft. They are looking for enthusiastic and committed interns to assist campaign managers in developing, executing, and monitoring client media relations campaigns and social media platforms. Interns will gain hands-on experience while committing to a minimum of 15 hours per week for 6 months. Responsibilities • Write and design press materials • Email pitch to media • Online media research and blogger outreach • Research media and newsworthy topics online • Attend monthly team meetings and brainstorm strategy sessions • Compile media lists • Post author events to events listings websites • Assist with social media content development and blog writing • Assist in internship candidate process for next semester internship Skills • Must be US-based. • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Self-starter with initiative and creativity • Efficient writing skills • Independently manages workflow • Excellent time management skills • Access to high speed internet connection • Basic understanding of Google, FB/Twitter/Instagram Analytics • Social Media Applications (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Falcon.io) • Canva, WordPress Benefits • You can work from home (saves on commute time and gas) • You manage your time and assist with projects when it is convenient for your schedule • You may be able to receive college credit for the internship. • You will learn professional skills through this internship & get references/recommendation Company Overview • PR by the Book is a publicity firm that specializes in traditional book publicity, influencer marketing, and digital relevancy.
