This hands-on analytical role involves building price curves, analyzing pricing and constraints, and developing market reports while collaborating closely with traders and senior leadership.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain forward price curves across power marketsAnalyse nodal pricing, congestion, and transmission constraints (ERCOT/PJM)Support P&L attribution and position risk reportingDevelop and automate market reporting using SQL and Power BIWork directly with traders and present findings to senior leadershipSkills2–6 years in power markets analyticsStrong understanding of ISO/RTO market structures (ERCOT and/or PJM preferred)Forward curve construction experienceSQL proficient — Python a bonusETRM experience (Endur, Allegro, or similar) advantageousComfortable presenting to senior stakeholdersCompany Overviewtalisman is a workforce solutions partner to the real asset industries and the financial markets that underpin them.
