[Remote] Power BI Developer(UI/UX & Embedded Analytics)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amtex Systems Inc is seeking a contract Power BI Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX and embedded analytics. The role involves designing user-friendly Power BI dashboards, embedding reports into React applications, and collaborating with various teams to deliver high-quality analytics experiences. Responsibilities • Design user‑friendly Power BI dashboards based off Figma designs and Power BI JSON Themes • Embed Power BI reports into React applications using Power BI Embedded • Configure and manage Row‑Level and Object‑Level Security (RLS/OLS) via Microsoft Entra ID • Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver analytics as a polished output • Building dashboards & reports to provide prescriptive analytics (actionable insights & recommendations), allow for what-if scenarios & forecasting • Build advanced, custom visuals using Deneb (Vega‑Lite) or Typescript Skills • 3+ years of hands‑on Power BI development experience, preferably in the inventory management, IoT (temperature monitoring & asset tracking) domains • Proven ability to apply UI/UX principles to analytics dashboards • Experience with Figma, Deneb, and Power BI theming • Hands‑on experience with Power BI Embedded and React • Working knowledge of Power BI security concepts (RLS/OLS, Entra ID) Company Overview • Amtex Systems was officially started in 1997 by Sunny Pokala with its headquarters in Wall Street, New York, and currently has offices across four continents.
