[Remote-Position] Project/Program Manager I (Contingent)
We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Project/program Manager I! We have an opening at our office in Remote. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. This role offers a salary package of a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Â Â Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon via Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Amazon.
Job Summary:
Join the Global Corporate Issues & Media Relations (GCIMR) team at Amazon in a temporary role that plays a crucial part in a dynamic media strategy team. The GCIMR team oversees corporate issues and reactive media relations, offering strategic PR guidance on emerging challenges that could affect Amazon's operations, brand, or reputation. As a key member of this team, you will engage with the news media daily, act as an on-the-record spokesperson, and proactively identify potential issues for senior leaders at Amazon.
Responsibilities:
 Route media inquiries to appropriate subject matter experts
 Manage team data efficiently
 Track relevant metrics associated with media relations
Skills:
 Strong organizational abilities
 Experience thriving in a fast-paced work... environment
 Ability to Think Big and anticipate future needs
 Proficiency in streamlining processes
 Versatility to adapt and contribute across various tasks
Qualifications:
 Four-year college degree
 Preferred 1-2 years' experience in the communications industry
 Proficiency in data analysis
