This adjunct (part-time) position is for a EKG skills informational event/Powerpoint presentation. This is not a traditional classroom lecture. What we are offering: The opportunity to contribute to the development of the next generation of Health Care professionals What you will do: Lead an EKG skills informational event/Powerpoint presentation, as the student demand arises Powerpoint presentation is provided for you Provide an in-depth lecture on EKG interpretation, diagnosis, and possible treatment options for students. Answer any questions that students might have about EKG interpretation and patient management of cardiac conditions Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation Uphold the tenets of nursing as a holistic profession as well as the pillars of the University Participate in and/or support of the university program in all areas including an evident congruence with the philosophy and direction of the institution, and service to the community Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University What you need: Master's Degree and board certification. Applicannts with an FNP, ACNP, APRN, physican's assistant experience needed. Active, unencumbered, and current license. Minimum of two (2) years professional experience. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Proficient in English, Grammar, and writing in APA format.
