[Remote-Position] Full Time/ Part Time- Direct Support
A new position has opened up at workwarp for a Full Time/ Part Time- Direct Support Professional - Remote Support Professional  Afternoon/evenings- Mason City, Iowa! This role is 100% remote, giving you full control over your work environment. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. We are prepared to offer a competitive salary to attract a top-tier candidate for this role.   One Vision is seeking to hire a Direct Support Professional - Remote Support Professional - Afternoon/Evenings (1pm - 8pm) Full Time/ Part time - Mason City, Iowa - Support individuals with developmental disabilities in our Tech- Enabled Service homes in Mason City, Iowa. (Not a work from home remote position.)

Job description:
 Provide personalized support and encouragement to individuals in carrying out daily activities and routines, fostering independence and autonomy.
 Develop a comprehensive understanding of individual's characteristics, preferences, and support requirements to provide tailored assistance and promote their well-being.
 Prioritize the well-being and safety of individuals under care through proactive measures and adherence to established protocols.
 Promote and uphold healthy relationships among staff members and individuals served, fostering mutual respect and support.
 Will occasionally remotely support individuals and provides support in areas related to health, medication, safety, and daily living. Most of the support will consist of direct care.
 Provides ongoing training with technology to persons supported, to engage them to utilize in-home devices.
 The candidate should be able to work independently and should be self-motivated.
Job requirements:
 Highschool Diploma/GED required.
 Provide a current driver's license and proof of insurance.
 Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping. Lifting or use of lifts for some individuals.
 Proficient Computer Skills
 Knowledge of a wide range of technologies, including Communications.
 Professional written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to identify and understand the sense of urgency of individuals supported and document solutions within software platforms.
 Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
 Offer of employment is contingent upon background check, drug screen, physical assessment to occasionally lift to 50 pounds.
