[Remote-Position] Content Moderators for a Social Network

Let's build something amazing together. We're looking for a Content Moderators! Based in our vibrant Remote office, this role is available now. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. We offer a clear and simple compensation of a competitive salary for this position.   We’re looking for a few individuals who can review and moderate reported posts and accounts on a social media app based on the company’s policies, within a set amount of time. As a content moderator, you will ensure all content posted to the app is appropriate.

This is a contractual position and you will be expected to work between 20 and 40 hours per week.

Job Description

- Ensure that users have a secure social media experience. Strive to protect users from inappropriate or harmful content such as hate speech, graphic violence, or sexually explicit material based on our terms of service.

- Identifying and flagging potential violations of platform policies.

- Reviewing user reports within timelines provided by the company.

- Help identify workflow improvement areas and suggest solutions to ensure maximum efficiency

Qualifications/Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in content moderation or the trust and safety field.

- Computer savvy with excellent communication skills - verbal and written

- Good comprehension skills, able to follow instructions, and a quick learner.

- Able to work with minimal supervision and receptive to feedback

Schedule:

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on a fixed schedule, which will be determined based on the needs of the business.

A Huge Plus:
• Previous experience as a Tier 2 (or higher) content moderator
• Multilingual: Including Chinese or Korean
