Position Summary:
Responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of product to our customers.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
รย Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle
รย Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
รย Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles
รย Unload and deliver products to our customer utilizing various methodologies that may include manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments
รย Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel
รย Complete delivery and pick up paperwork
รย Pick up returned product as required
รย Collect company assets to include payments, carts, pallets, etc.
รย Complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
รย Complete company training and certifications as required
รย Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers
