Summary:
We are looking for a capable and energetic Test Automation Software Engineer. This person will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and improvement of software for sophisticated manufacturing test stations and the analysis of
the data those stations generate. Because of the dynamic nature of our rapidly growing business, you will thrive in this role if you have (or can develop) a broad-based knowledge of engineering and product design, a good eye for detail, and the ability to think outside the box.
Duties and Responsibilities:
ΓΒ Designing, developing, and debugging test automation software.
ΓΒ Collaborating with hardware engineers and software developers.
ΓΒ Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
ΓΒ Providing subject-matter expertise on test equipment and test methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
Since this is entry level- looking for below experience either from internships or school projects. This role is DP. There is relocation assistance provided as well as a stipend and stock. ?
ΓΒ Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline.
ΓΒ Proficiency in writing software such as C# and Python.
ΓΒ A basic understanding of electronics.
ΓΒ Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
ΓΒ NO C2C OR SPONSORSHIP. MUST BE A GC, PERM RESIDENT, OR CITIZEN DUE TO WORKING WITH GOVERMENT/SPACE WORK.
Preferred Qualifications:
ΓΒ Previous experience with automating electronics test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
ΓΒ Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Work Environment
On site at manufacturing clean room in Midland
