The Portfolio Value Marketing Manager will define and activate the integrated value story of LivaNova’s cardiopulmonary portfolio, shifting customer conversations towards a holistic partnership that emphasizes the combined clinical, economic, and operational value of their solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead portfolio‑level marketing strategy and brand management that unites LivaNova’s cardiopulmonary products into a clear, differentiated value proposition for hospital customersDefine and maintain integrated portfolio value propositions and core messaging that translate individual product benefits into a compelling system‑level storyPartner with product marketing teams to align product‑specific strategies with overarching portfolio narratives, ensuring consistency without sacrificing depth or differentiationCreate customer‑facing portfolio tools and content (e.g., value decks, economic narratives, playbooks) tailored to clinical, economic, and executive hospital stakeholdersLead development of economic and outcomes‑based storytelling, including total cost of ownership, utilization efficiency, workflow impact, and long‑term valueSupport strategic account and IDN engagements by enabling cross‑product discussions and longer‑term planning conversations that extend beyond single purchasing decisionsCollaborate with sales, corporate accounts, service, and communication teams as well as outside partners to ensure portfolio value messaging is reflected consistently across commercial strategies, field tools, and customer interactionsIdentify opportunities to strengthen portfolio differentiation, including bundled messaging, coordinated launches, and integrated product positioningPersonally provide marketing management for all Cardiopulmonary service productsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and emerging thought leaders to influence strategy and stay ahead of market shiftsTrack and analyze market trends, proactively adjusting strategies and communicating insights to guide organizational focus and market opportunityTrack progress of key initiatives, measure impact, and recommend options for improvementWork within LivaNova Ethics and Integrity framework and all industry guidelines to ensure all activities are compliantTake ownership of additional tasks and initiatives as neededSkillsDemonstrated ability to influence without direct authority, aligning product marketing, sales, communication, and service teamsComfortable acting as a connector across teams, ensuring consistency while respecting product‑level depthExperience translating complex concepts—such as total cost of ownership, service life, and long‑term value—into clear, compelling narrativesWork well within teams that are not located within a specific building or geographyAbility to travel regularly domestically (~25-30%) and internationally (1-2 times/year)Ability to understand scientific facts and package them into a cohesive communication model for customers and sales personnelStrong analytical and financial skills to organize complex information into clear frameworks and business casesExcellent project management skills, with demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and develop new programsAbility to communicate effectively with health care professionalsStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to meet hospital credentialing requirementsSolid MS Office skills including PowerPoint and ExcelBachelors degree in Business, Marketing, a health care related field, or a four-year degree with health care/clinical experience; MBA or MS preferredMinimum of 7+ years of relevant medical device marketing experienceKnowledge of the North America cardiovascular medical device marketplace and healthcare environment, ideally with deep expertise in cardiovascular clinical therapiesKnowledge of US healthcare and purchasing infrastructure, including GPOs and IDNsDemonstrated success in healthcare industry sales, marketing, or education, preferably within Medical Device or TechnologyBenefitsHealth benefits – Medical, Dental, VisionPersonal and Vacation TimeRetirement & Savings Plan (401K)Employee Stock Purchase PlanTraining & Education AssistanceBonus Referral ProgramService AwardsEmployee Recognition ProgramFlexible Work SchedulesCompany OverviewLivaNova is a medical technology company that specializes in advanced cardiac surgery, neuromodulation, and circulatory support solutions.
