They are seeking a Portfolio Sales Specialist who will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers to drive sales of their products and expand existing accounts.ResponsibilitiesMeet territory sales quota for ICU (Market leading disposable) Infusion Therapy, Oncology, and Specialty productsMaster presentation skills and command technical knowledge of the ICU family of products and how they relate to guidelines FDA, CDC, SHEA, INS, ONS, ASHP, etc. in order to communicate professionally with Hospital CliniciansKnow the strengths and weaknesses of competing products in the market and how to position ICU Medicalโs offerings against them clinically. Be the clinical expert / consultative problem solver at the field level for clinical and supply chain contactsKnow the assigned territory and customer base, contracts, pumps, solutions, distribution models, etcBe able to conduct product trials and implementation of all ICU productsKnow your market and the clinicians in the market through local AVA INS APIC ONS chaptersCommunicate with managers and align sales efforts with Company and regional targetsWork on special projects as they ariseWork occasionally during weekends/nights, when necessarySkillsMust be at least 18 years of ageBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is requiredMinimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success. Preferably in medical device sales with relationships in key regional health systems, as well as experience in needle-free infusion therapy products and servicesProven track record of making quota/growth in territory, development of existing customer relationships with Supply ChainPosition requires active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, to perform the essential function of your role at customer locationsSelf-motivated, energetic, professional, and able to perform job duties with minimal supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skillsStrong organization skills and able to multitaskComputer literate and proficient in Excel, Word, and OutlookThis job is a field based roleAs part of the scope of employment, the employee must hold a valid driver's license as well as comply and meet the requirements set forth in the Authorized Driver Policy to drive on behalf of the companyTypically requires travel more than 50% of the timeCompany OverviewICU Medical connects patients and caregivers through safe, life-saving, life-enhancing IV therapy systems, software, solutions, and consumables.
