Location: San Leandro, CA - Onsite 4 days a week.
Duration: 3 Months
Contract description
Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages to support business requirements.
Write efficient and maintainable Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of PL/SQL code.
Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and transformation.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Work with large datasets and ensure data integrity and security.
Document technical designs, processes, and solutions for future reference.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on PL/SQL.
Proficiency in Python programming, including experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar.
Strong understanding of relational database concepts and experience with Oracle or similar databases.
Hands-on experience with performance tuning and debugging PL/SQL code.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
