[Remote] Platform Engineering Intern

Responsibilities Implement APIs used by the Vivint’s mobile apps Write handlers to communicate with Vivint cameras Work with experienced software developers to implement new features Skills Experience with Go and Python or similar languages Currently in your sophomore semester of college/university Experience developing REST and/or gRPC APIs Familiarity with Kubernetes and/or Docker Understanding of MQTT for communicating with IoT devices Understanding of non-relational (NoSQL) databases like MongoDB Company Overview Vivint offers an integrated smart home system along with in-home consultation, professional installation, monitoring, and support.
