The role focuses on designing, building, securing, and operating scalable cloud platforms, while enabling engineering and product teams with reliable, automated, and secure cloud infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain AWS-based cloud platforms and shared servicesImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar toolsBuild CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and platform reliabilityManage cloud networking, security, identity, and access managementMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources for performance and costCollaborate with application, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve developer experienceEnsure platform compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standardsDesign architectures using AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatchImplement high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability patternsOptimize cloud cost using AWS cost management and monitoring toolsMaintain secure networking including VPC design, security groups, NACLs, and load balancersDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipelineAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deploymentsImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutionsPromote DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practicesSkills5 years of experience in cloud or platform engineeringStrong hands-on experience with AWS services and architectureExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Python, Bash)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environmentsAWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)Experience with SRE practices and platform reliability engineeringExperience supporting large-scale, multi-account AWS environmentsKnowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001Company OverviewNTT DATA, Inc. is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
