Remote Physical Therapist in NY
An opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This contract position is based in Troy, New York, focusing on delivering remote therapeutic interventions to support student health and rehabilitation needs.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and consultations through telehealth platforms.
ā¢ Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals and needs.
ā¢ Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care.
ā¢ Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
ā¢ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Valid Physical Therapy license.
ā¢ Experience providing telehealth services, preferably in educational environments.
ā¢ Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school personnel remotely.
ā¢ Ability to work independently with a high degree of professionalism.
ā¢ Familiarity with federal and state regulations regarding school-based therapy services.
