About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing patient information, making approval recommendations, and practicing utilization management. You will also participate in ongoing training programs to ensure quality performance and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with documentation and implementation of communications, and collaborate with physicians, prescribers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Review patient information and check appropriateness using clinical criteria
Make approval recommendations on services that meet clinical review criteria
Practice and maintain the principles of utilization management
Uphold clinical integrity of pharmaceutical solutions through ongoing training and quality performance
Provide exceptional customer service through professional and accurate communication
Collaborate with physicians, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve claims submission related to medication edits
Determine eligibility for medication reimbursement based on established clinical criteria
Electronically document communications with physicians, staff, cardholders, and pharmacies
Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
At least 2 years of experience in a Customer Service role, ideally in the Hospital/Health Care/Healthtech or Pharmaceutical industry
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
Self-starter with a high level of resilience and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
University Degree - Certified Pharmacy Technician (Required)
Licensed in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin (Required)
Fluent in English (US) (Required)
Living in the USA due to HIPAA compliance
4 to 6 years of supply chain or customer support service experience (Preferred)
