Conduct follow-ups and update patient information through data entry.
Answer and manage inbound phone calls with professionalism.
Handle Electronic Refill Scripts (ERX) efficiently.
Order labs and relay lab results to the appropriate parties.
Manage scheduled follow-ups and triage patient concerns.
Provide support in a contact center environment.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician.
Proven experience in a high call volume environment.
Pharmacy Technician Certification or equivalent experience.
Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Athena.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Medical Assisting diploma or certification is preferred.
Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.
High School Diploma required.
Experience in prior authorization and insurance billing.
Work EnvironmentThis is a remote position requiring the handling of 200+ calls daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
