[Remote] Pharmacy Consultant, PharmD

The Pharmacy Consultant, PharmD will lead client relationships, review pharmacy results, and present utilization and cost trend analysis to clients, while supporting the Pharmacy Practice team in various consulting activities.ResponsibilitiesSupport regional pharmacy benefits consultants and producers in client facing activities and revenue generating opportunitiesMaintain technical understanding of pharmacy benefit products and conceptsHave a strong understanding of current pharmacy benefit trends, conditions and conceptsBe capable of reviewing and interpreting marketing results, explaining utilization and cost trends to existing or prospective clientsPerform initial review of policies, contracts and other documents as requiredEstablish and maintain proactive communication with clients/carriers and vendorsKeep a current awareness of vendorsβ products and capabilitiesKeep Senior Pharmacy Consultant informed on matters of importance via written and verbal correspondenceAdvise on and contribute to creation of content for employee communication material to be used by client regarding employee benefit design and costRespond to all client and/or employee questions regarding pharmacy benefits and facilitate resolution of complex issues in a timely manner as neededStay abreast of all client pharmacy activity, including renewals, market checks, procurement activity and audit opportunitiesCreate and manage preparation of spreadsheets, proposals, presentation materials and deliverables for current and prospective clientsInterface with team members and servicing team on issues relating to the clientMaintain client files with documentation as required by internal compliance standardsBe capable of setting and communicating clear and realistic expectations to team members and clients in order to avoid perception of service delivery failureParticipate in peer review of all client facing documents as required by internal company policyParticipate in special projects as assigned; perform other duties as assigned by managementKeep team informed of activity surrounding renewals and deadline status regarding Pharmacy RFP creation and distributionSkillsPharmD required8 years' relevant pharmacy benefitsStrong acumen for generating revenueMust be self-motivated, assertive, enthusiastic and collaborativeMust be amiable when encountering difficult situations with clients, vendors and co-workersMust be well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and deliver work according to strict deadlinesMust be an excellent verbal and written communicatorShould be comfortable with making presentations to peers and to clientsMust have excellent technical skills and knowledge of business applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access (other related databases) and PowerPoint, etc.)Must have well developed problem solving skills critical to working independentlyBenefitsMedical/dental/vision plans, which start from day one!Life and accident insurance401(K) and Roth optionsTax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA)Educational expense reimbursementPaid parental leaveDigital mental health services (Talkspace)Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function)Training programsGallagher Thrive program β elevating your health through challenges, workshops and digital fitness programs for your overall wellbeingCharitable matching gift programCompany OverviewSeaCoast Underwriters is now Risk Placement Services!
