[Remote] Pharmacovigilance Ophthalmologist Consultant

Discover International is seeking an experienced Pharmacovigilance Ophthalmologist to provide medical and scientific expertise in the safety evaluation of ophthalmology programs across clinical development and post-marketing phases. The role involves leading medical reviews of ophthalmic adverse events and collaborating with various teams to ensure global pharmacovigilance compliance. Responsibilities • Lead the medical review of ophthalmic adverse events and contribute to ongoing safety surveillance activities. • Support signal detection, risk management, and benefit–risk assessments for investigational and marketed products. • Collaborate closely with clinical, regulatory, and quality teams to ensure global PV compliance and alignment. • Provide ophthalmology expertise for safety documents (DSURs, PSURs, IBs) and regulatory submissions. • Contribute to protocol design, informed consent forms, and clinical trial safety oversight. • Stay current on emerging ophthalmic safety trends, treatment innovations, and regulatory requirements.
